HR (Hot Rolled) Tube
Strength, Durability, and Structural Integrity
HR (Hot Rolled) Tubes
Hot Rolled (HR) Tubes are robust steel tubing products manufactured at high temperatures to create versatile structural elements. This traditional production method yields tubes with excellent formability, weldability, and cost-effectiveness, making them ideal for applications requiring strength and durability in various industrial sectors.
What are HR Tubes?
Hot Rolled Tubes are steel tubes formed at temperatures exceeding 1,700°F (925°C), which is above the steel's recrystallization temperature. This process allows for greater material manipulation and produces tubes with a characteristic slightly rough surface finish. HR tubes offer good machinability and welding properties, making them suitable for various structural and mechanical applications where precise dimensional tolerances are less critical.
- Widely used in structural frameworks for buildings and industrial facilities.
- Essential in agricultural equipment for machinery frames and components.
- Common in infrastructure projects for support structures and barriers.
- Utilized in transportation systems for frames, chassis, and components.
- Important for construction equipment manufacturing and components.
- Employed in oil and gas industries for various structural applications.
- Used in heavy equipment manufacturing for durable components.
- Ideal for outdoor structures requiring weather resistance and strength.
- Applied in industrial shelving and storage system construction.
- Utilized in fencing and railing systems for commercial applications.
Production Range
HR Tubes can be produced in different sizes and thicknesses. Production ranges are as follows:
- Wall Thickness: 0.80 mm - 5.00 mm
- Length: Standard length is 6 meters, but lengths between 4 and 12 meters can be delivered for special order
Advantages of HR Tubes
The hot rolling process produces tubes with better formability and ductility, making them easier to bend, shape, and manipulate during secondary manufacturing processes.
HR tubes feature excellent welding characteristics, allowing for simpler and more reliable joining methods in construction and manufacturing applications without special preparation.
With their robust physical properties, HR tubes provide excellent load-bearing capacity and structural integrity for applications requiring strength and durability under demanding conditions.
HR tubes are adaptable to various industries and applications, from construction and agriculture to transportation and industrial manufacturing, offering a reliable solution for diverse structural needs.
